European Library via facebook

Via - jawel - Facebook kreeg ik een press release van de European Library over de introductie van hun "Users Advisory Board". De leden van deze raad zijn afkomstig uit de internationale bibliotheken en academische wereld, of hebben hun sporen als web 2.0 specialist verdiend. Hun input moet de ontwikkeling en strategie van het European Library portal helpen vormgeven. België is vertegenwoordigd via Mel Collier (KUL), Nederland via Max Dohle (Copywriter). De leden zijn voor twee jaar verkozen.

TheEuropeanLibrary.org is a service of the Conference of European National Librarians (CENL) offering free, item level, access to the combined resources, books, magazines, journals, manuscripts, sound and video archives, both digital and non-digital, from 33 of the 47 national libraries of Europe. Europeana – formerly called European Digital Library or EDL – will be build upon the infrastructure of The European Library.
