New York Public Library Digital Gallery

The New York Public Library heeft een mooie en uitgebreide digitale fotodatabase. In de categorie Science and Nature is de collectie 'Classic Illustrated Zoologies and Related Works, 1550-1900' terug te vinden: Illustrated books from the 17th century to the early 20th depicting the animals of the world. Based on the scholarly bibliography of the same title by Miriam Gross ( Biblion, The Bulletin of The New York Public Library, 1994). De volledige bibliografie vind je hier. Bij de collectie cigare cards vind je ook oude afbeeldingen van Brussel of Brugge (zie ill.)
