Volgens een prachtig geïllustreerd artikel in The News in Print: A Refreshing Blend of Printer Technology News, Guides; Reviews zijn dit de zeven mooiste bibliotheken ter wereld. Met drie bibliotheken bij de laatste zeven is Engeland goed vertegenwoordigd. Het lijkt wel de Champions League. Een andere website curiousexpeditions.org selecteerde ook enkele wondermooie bibliotheken, in een topic getiteld Librophiliac Love Letter: A Compendium of Beautiful Libraries.
