Rewriting the Book is de slogan van de nieuwe stadsbibliotheek van Birmingham. Kostprijs van dit fantastische bibliotheekgebouw is 189 miljoen Britse pond. Op de tien verdiepingen vindt de bibliotheekbezoeker meer dan 400.000 boeken, een jeugdbibliotheek, leeszalen, kunstgalerijtjes, een multimedia ruimte, twee café's, een muziekbibliotheek, een performance space, groene outdoor terrasjes, een winkel shop en een galerij.
